1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a Rakupay account or using any part of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the services.

These terms form a binding agreement between you and Rakupay Global LLC (“Rakupay”, “we”, “us”). You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.

2. Eligibility & accounts

Rakupay accounts are available to freelancers and remote workers in supported countries. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.

• One account per person unless we expressly permit otherwise.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or suspected fraud.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Verification & KYC

To open and maintain an account, you must complete identity verification (KYC). We and our banking partners may request additional documentation at any time to meet regulatory obligations.

We may limit, suspend or close an account where verification cannot be completed or where required by law or our partners.

4. The services

Rakupay provides a virtual USD account, a payment card, and currency and crypto conversion features. Banking and card services are provided through regulated partners; Rakupay is a technology provider and not a bank.

Availability of specific features may vary by country and may change over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the services.

5. The Rakupay card

The Rakupay card is issued by our card partner under license. Card transactions are subject to available balance, applicable limits, and network rules. You are responsible for keeping your card details and device secure.

• You can freeze, unfreeze and set limits on your card from the app.
• Disputed transactions are handled in line with network and partner procedures.

6. Fees & conversion

Applicable fees are shown in the app before you confirm a transaction. Currency and crypto conversions are executed at the rate displayed at the time of the transaction. Rates fluctuate and are not guaranteed until a conversion is confirmed.

You are responsible for any taxes arising from your use of the services.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Rakupay for unlawful activity, including fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or financing of prohibited activities. We monitor for and act on prohibited use.

• No use that violates applicable laws or our partners’ requirements.
• No attempt to circumvent security, limits or verification controls.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rakupay is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. The services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, except those that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access where you breach these terms, where required by law or our partners, or to protect users and the integrity of the services. You may close your account at any time, subject to settling outstanding balances.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will give reasonable notice through the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
